First-time setup guide

New here? Let us walk you through it.

Ten simple steps from signing up to reading your first report. Tick each one off as you go — no experience needed.

Before you start, grab these:

It makes everything quicker if you have these ready.

A video of your kata or kumite (MP4 or MOV, under 100MB)
The name of your kata, or a name for your match
An email address you can check
A way to pay (unless your club or federation covers it)
  1. Make an account or sign in

Sign in with Google or your email. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian needs to do this step for you.

💡 You only do this once. Next time you come back, just sign in.

  2. Pick a plan (if you need one)

A Performance Snapshot is €15 for quick AI feedback. A Single Review is €25 for a full AI report with training suggestions. A bundle gives you 5 reviews for €95. If your club or federation already paid, you can skip this step.

💡 Not sure? Start with a single review. You can always get more later.

  3. Open the upload page

Tap "My Portal", then tap "Upload a video". This is where your video goes.

💡 On a phone? You can film and upload straight from the portal.

  4. Have your video ready

Film your kata or kumite match. Keep the phone still, make sure your whole body is in the picture, and film somewhere bright. The file must be MP4 or MOV and under 100MB.

💡 Too big? Film at 720p instead of 4K, or trim the video to just the performance.

  5. Fill in the simple form

Type your name, the name of your kata (or a name for your match), and where it was filmed. For kumite, pick your belt colour — red (Aka) or blue (Ao).

💡 Every box has a little hint under it telling you what to type.

  6. Choose how you want feedback

All athlete reviews are AI-generated — no coach needed. Your report is ready in minutes with clear feedback, training suggestions, and a PDF you can download. Just upload and wait.

💡 New to this? Start with a Performance Snapshot for €15 — it is the quickest option.

  7. Tick the consent boxes

These just confirm you are happy for a coach to watch your video and write a report. If you are under 16, your parent ticks these.

💡 Your video is private. It is deleted 30 days after your review is done.

  8. Press submit and wait

For an instant AI report, you will see it in a few minutes. For coach reviews, it takes about 3–5 days. You will get an email when it is ready.

💡 You can close the app while you wait. We will email you.

  9. Read your report

Find it under "My Portal". You can download it as a PDF to keep or show your coach at the dojo.

💡 The report has notes pinned to exact moments in your video.

  10. Follow your training plan

Your report comes with drills for the parts you need to improve most. Practice them between sessions and talk them through with your coach.

💡 Do the next review after a few weeks to see your progress.
